local.ly

local.ly provides local experiences to exchange students to explore the city and meet others. The web-app provides easy access to experiences in different categories so that everyone can find something of their interest.

Testing instructions

1. Visit the site and register with a valid E-Mail address that you can access (make sure you remember your password)
2. Log in with your E-Mail address and password, and don’t forget to also log out once you are done exploring locally
3. Chose a date for your experience and reserve whatever sounds interesting to you. However, there are only limited spots in each experience. After checking if this is the case, local.ly will cancel your reservation automatically. The same applies if you try to book experiences that might overlap in time.
4. You will receive a confirmation E-Mail as soon as your local guides have approved your reservation
5. Make sure to log back on to the site to confirm your attendance, or to cancel your reservation. To do this, click on ‘My Experiences’ in the header menu.
6. Leave feedback once your experience is over. Don’t worry, you will receive a reminder on the day of your experience. This feature will be available as soon as the date of the experience has been reached. To leave feedback visit the 'My Experiences' section in the header menu.
